AT Logo Challenge
Objective: TSWBAT research and analyze effective logo design in order to design a unique logo.
What is a logo?
A logo represents a brand, and utilizes graphics, shapes, fonts, and colors to communicate and market that brand to the public.
Effective logos follow Five Principles of design:
Simple logos are easily recognized, which in turn, make it easy for people to remember. Timeless logos work for all seasons, as well as for the future without looking dated. Logos that are versatile will look good when scaled up or down in size, are printed on different mediums (t-shirts versus webpage), and whether they are printed in black and white, or in full color. It is also important for a logo to be appropriate to the target audience. A law firm's logo would not use a childish or fun font, as it would not send the appropriate message, yet a a childish or fun font would be perfectly appropriate for an children's clothing company.
We are going to design a logo for the AT program, in order to communicate the programs' purpose and goals.
